Dr. Leslie Herman received the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree in 2005 from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. She has a Master's Degree in Audiology from Washington University in St. Louis, where she also received an academic fellowship from the Central Institute for the Deaf, and a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology from Syracuse University. In 1983, she founded the Summit Hearing Aid Center in Summit and three years later opened a second office in Irvington.
Dr Herman holds New Jersey licenses in both Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing. She is a trustee of the NJ Association of Hearing Health Professionals and a member of the American Academy of Audiology, Academy of Dispensing Audiologists, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, International Hearing Society and the NJ Association of Audiologists.

Dr. Anne Michele Puglisi received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree in 2005 from The School of Audiology at Salus University. She has a Master of Science degree in Audiology from Gallaudet University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Deaf Education from The College of New Jersey. She spent several years practicing in a hospital setting where she honed her diagnostic and dispensing skills. She joined Summit Hearing Aid Center in 2006, and has enjoyed the pace and productivity of private practice.
Dr. Puglisi has a special interest in aural rehabilitation; she has presented on the topic and has organized and taught related seminars. She has been an adjunct professor for Seton Hall University and a teaching assistant for Gallaudet University. She holds New Jersey Licenses for both Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing. Dr. Puglisi is a member the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech Hearing Language Association

Monika received her degree as an administrative assistant in 1999 from Gibbs College. Prior to working at this facility she was employed as a doctor's assistant at a pediatrician's office. For the past nine years Monika has held the position of office manager and patient coordinator at Summit Hearing Aid Center. Monika moved from Poland 16 years ago. From working in this busy office and with daily patient contact, her command of the English language has flourished. Monika states that "she enjoys her position with Dr. Herman and the rest of the staff and is considering continuing her education in hearing aid dispensing "so she can help people to hear better."
Emily studied Psychology at Utah Valley University. She moved from Utah to Indiana, where she worked as a Teaching Assistant at a Special Education School. She moved to New Jersey just over a year ago and has worked for Summit Hearing Aid Center since September 2008 as an Office Assistant. She enjoys the daily personal contact with the patients, as well as her day to day office responsibilities. She loves working for and learning from Dr. Herman and the rest of the staff.
